Book Review: Magisterium by Jeff Hirsch

BMagisteriumook Review:  Magisterium by Jeff Hirsch

Glen Morgan grew up on the scientific side of the world of The Rift. When her father becomes obsessed with an experiment, she realizes she needs to get him help; but instead the authorities arrest her father.  When the government tries to capture her and her best friend, Glen must flee into the forest and a land she’s been raised to fear.

This is the first book that I’ve read by this author. While some parts reminded me of another book, I really did enjoy reading it. The ending was fairly open, but I haven’t seen anything about a second book yet.

Quote: nothing that rocked me, but I loved the visual descriptions involving some swans that transform late at night.
