Book Review: Riders by Veronica Rossi

Sooo when you cue book reviews in advance, it helps if you have the right month. HA HA. Pain meds. That is my excuse. Wondering why this didn’t post last week…oops!

Bridersook Review: Riders by Veronica Rossi

When he recovers from an accident too quickly, Gideon realizes that something about him has changed. He awakes to find a bracelet attached to his arm and quickly learns that his destiny is forever altered. As Gideon makes new friends, his role in this dangerous adventure is revealed. He is now War, one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse.

Told in flashbacks during an interrogation, this novel jumps between the present and Gideon’s current situation. Characters and action are quick moving. This is the first book in a new series. I thought the idea was creative and well developed. For me the jury is still out. It has potential for greatness, but also worried it might not totally find its footing. There were a few things that were underdeveloped, but sometimes in a book like this that is intentional! Looking forward to book two to find out.
